Amelia Daniels wax melts, reed diffusers and room spray review

Sunday, 1 November 2020

During the United Kingdom lockdown we have all gone a little bit crazy for home organisation, tidiness and as a result, wax melts and any homeware item that comes with a nice scent!

If you have followed this old blog over the last few months you will know that I no longer live in the house I own... It is a bit of a weird situation that I fully intend to discuss further, but when I left I pretty much left everything homely I owned. All my wax melts, fragrances and candles! Absolute disaster but considering me and the ex are on less than friendly terms I didn't fancy going back to grab anything other than what I already had.
Whilst I was unpacking one of the last boxes I found all of my Amelia Daniels products and I cannot tell you how happy this made me and what a difference having something 'homely' has made to such a difficult time.

One of my favourite products is by far this beautiful personalised reed diffuser. You can pretty much personalise the products to any style you want, there is a reed diffuser celebrating marriages, one for instagram user names and even ones for Birthdays. They all retail for £24.00 and come in gorgeous packaging (see top picture for the beautiful box). The reed diffuser is luxury quality at such an affordable price. The box states that the reed diffusers last for at least 3 months. Mine is currently on month four and still smells incredible. I also have approximately half of the scent left in the bottle and I guess this reed diffuser is going to last me several more months. Certainly worth the £24.00 for the fragrance and long usage alone. I previously had to replace my £4-£5 ones every two weeks and therefore, the Amelia Daniels reed diffuser is a much more cost effective product. The fragrance I have is sandalwood and black pepper and I love it.

I spoke extensively on my Instagram stories about how incredible the Himalayan cedar and jasmine room spray is, but I felt it needed to be mentioned again. The room sprays come with their own spray bottle and you simply fill it up and away you go. This fragrance reminds me of a spa and I love spraying it in the bathroom before lighting some candles and getting a bath. It really helps my me time and leaves me feeling refreshed. I do also spray the room spray when I am feeling stressed, which being a trainee solicitor is rather ofter. My family love the scent and I'll need to purchase a re-fill very soon. The room spray and bottle retail for £20.00 and the re-fill itself is £15.00. I use the spray a few times a week and still have 1/3rd of the re-fill bottle and half of the room spray left. Again, very much worth the money.

Last, but certainly not least, are the incredible wax-melts. I cannot rave about these enough. Each wax melt has around 4-6 hours burn time. There are three styles to purchase: the first is the wax melt pots retailing at 4 for £10.00; the soy wax melt pouches at £6.00 for six large chunks and the 24 heart wax-melt boxes retailing at £25.00 (below).

It is so important to support our smaller independent businesses at such a difficult time and even more so towards the Christmas period. I already have a few gifts for the family picked out ready for Christmas and if you can, please check out Amelia Daniel's website here to get some gift inspiration and make a little purchase. When you support smaller independents you really are helping to make a difference and the products are far superior to anything else I have come across on the market.

Until Next Time
