The James Watts Pub is situated in the heart of Cheadle. If craft beer and fancy Gin is your kind of thing then I highly recommend a visit.
We decided to pop down for a visit one Thursday evening and try the taster board of the craft ales. You get three 1/3rd pints for £3.70. Great beer for even greater value.
Next we moved onto the unusual stuff, I tried a Cherry beer! Unusual, but amazing. The staff are really knowledgable on beers suited to you and their recommendations have always been something we've liked.
We then moved onto to Gins and quite frankly, who doesn't love a grammable Gin?! The selection of Gins from around the World is really good. There is a little booklet on the tables, which tells you each Gin, what its suited to and what type of taste it has. It is a handy little booklet for those of you who may have not tried Gin before.
The James Watts Pub has fast become my favourite local with Live Music on Mondays and Thursdays and a Pub Quiz on Sundays, what's not to love?!
